How To Program Keyin Univeral Remote To TV With Codes
Here are the step-by-step instructions to set up the Keyin remote on your TV.
- Turn ON your TV manually.
- Grab the remote and hold the “S” or “SET” button until the red light on the remote becomes lit.
- Now, enter the programming code using the numeric keys on the remote.
- Press the Power button on the remote to test its functionality.
- If the remote is not working, repeat the procedure from Step 2 until your remote starts working.
One Touch Press Programming Of Keyin Universal Remote
It is one of the easiest pairing methods; however, it is limited to the brand names mentioned on your remote. Let’s see how it works:
- Turn ON your TV manually.
- Now, based on your brand name, hold the button on the remote: 1 for Toshiba, 2 for Philips, 3 for Sanyo, 4 for Sharp, 5 for Hitachi, 6 for NEC, 7 for Samsung, 8 for Sony, 9 for LG and Goldstar, and 0 for Panasonic.
- Do not release the button until you see the Volume bar on your TV screen.
- When the Volume bar appears, release the button, and your remote is programmed.
Programming Keyin Universal Remote Without Code
- Switch ON your TV manually.
- Grab the remote and hold the button with the “S” symbol for 3 seconds. It is the first button on the remote.
- Release the button when the Red light on the remote turns ON.
- Now, press and release the Volume – or Volume + key after every second.
- Keep doing so until you see the Volume bar on your TV. Once it appears, your remote will be paired to the TV.
- Press and release the “S” button to lock the code, and the remote light will turn OFF.
- Test the remote functions.
If the remote is working partially, you need to reset from Step 2.
