How To Program Sky Remote To LG TV
Here are simple steps to pair your Sky+ remote control to LG smart TV.
- Press and release the TV button on the remote.
- Simultaneously hold the Select and Red button on the remote and wait until the remote’s LED blink twice.
- Release the buttons after blinking of light.
- Now, enter the 4-digit remote control codes.
Your Sky remote is connected to the LG TV. Test the remote functions and enjoy.
How To Program Sky Q / Sky Q Accessibility Remote To LG Smart TV
- Switch ON your LG TV and Sky Q device.
- Press the Home button on your Sky Q or Sky Q Accessibility remote.
- Go to Settings > Setup > and select the Remote Control option.
- Select the model of the remote you are using.
- Next, select the Control Your TV option.
- Choose LG as the brand of your TV.
- Click on Find It For Me
- Simultaneously, hold the 1 and 3 buttons on the remote and enter the code that appears on your TV screen.
- After entering the remote codes, press the Volume key to check if the remote is functioning.
- If the remote doesn’t respond, select the No Try Another option.
- Repeat the procedure until the remote starts functioning.
How To Set Up Your Sky Q Touch Or Sky Q Voice Remote
- Turn ON your Sky device and LG TV.
- Grab the remote and hold 1 and 3 buttons on the remote together for 2 seconds.
- You will see a remote control Setup screen on your TV.
- Select Continue
- Choose the brand name of your TV from the list, which in this case is LG.
- Click on Find It For Me, and the device will begin searching for your TV model.
- Now, try changing the volume; if it works, click Yes and if it doesn’t, select No Try Another.
That’s it. Your remote is now paired.
You can repeat the same procedure to connect your Sky remote to Soundbar or any other device.
If nothing works, reset the Sky remote. For this, you need to hold the 7 and 9 buttons together until the light blinks 4 times. Repeat the pairing steps after the factory reset.
